Zahra joined the firm in August 2023. Having obtained a degree in Law with International Politics and Policy she is now undertaking her Solicitor’s Qualifying Examinations. Zahra is dedicated to thoroughly preparing each of her cases and supporting clients every step of the way.

About Zahra
Zahra is a paralegal who joined the firm earlier this year. She is based at our Head Office in Salford and represents clients throughout the Greater Manchester area as well as across England and Wales. She represents clients at all stages of criminal proceedings for offences including general crime and serious sexual offences.
Education
Zahra was born and raised in Bolton before attending the University of Liverpool where she obtained a degree in Law with International Politics and Policy. She is now studying her Masters in Legal Practice at The University of Law in which she chose the key practice area of Advanced Criminal Practice. Zahra is also currently completing her Solicitor’s Qualifying Examinations.
Approach to the work
Zahra is motivated by being able to defend those who cannot defend themselves. She understands that being accused of a crime can leave people feeling branded or judged and because of this works to ensure every client feels heard and supported. Zahra is aware of the injustice that can arise in our criminal justice system and works tirelessly to ensure that her clients do not fall victim to this.
Writing and Media
Zahra writes case studies for our firm’s website which detail the results of her cases. She has also published a paper on The Sentencing Act 2020 which is an area law she has particular expertise in.
Outside the law
Zahra enjoys spending time with her friends and family, travelling and watching crime documentaries.
Practice areas
Zahra defends in all serious crime and has particular experience with cases being heard in the Magistrates' Court and Crown Court.
Sexual Allegations
Zahra represents clients in all areas of sexual offences. She is currently representing several individuals facing sexual assault charges and therefore has experience in preparing these cases for court.
Serious Crime
The majority of Zahra's caseload is made up of serious crime. She represents those facing allegations of violent offences including causing grievous bodily harm and assault by beating.
Fraud
Zahra has an understanding of fraud at varying levels and is currently representing clients who have been accused of fraud by abuse of position.
