About Zahra
Zahra is a Solicitor who joined the firm in 2023 and completed her training to be a Solicitor here. She is based at our Head Office in Salford and represents clients throughout the Greater Manchester area as well as across England and Wales. She represents clients at all stages of criminal proceedings for offences including general crime and serious sexual offences.
Education
Zahra was born and raised in Bolton before attending the University of Liverpool where she obtained a degree in Law with International Politics and Policy. She then obtained a Masters degree in Legal Practice at The University of Law where she specialised in Advanced Criminal Practice and completed her Solicitor's Qualifying Examinations alongside this degree.
Approach to the work
Zahra is motivated by being able to defend those who cannot defend themselves and prides herself on the way she fights for the best result in all circumstances. She understands that being accused of a crime can leave people feeling branded or judged and because of this works to ensure every client feels heard and supported.
Zahra is aware of the injustice that can arise in our criminal justice system and works tirelessly to ensure that her clients do not fall victim to this. Zahra brings a unique perspective to her practice when supporting clients from minority or marginalised backgrounds.
Writing and Media
Zahra writes case studies for our firm’s website which detail the results of her cases. She has also published a paper on The Sentencing Act 2020 which is an area law she has particular expertise in.
Outside the law
Zahra enjoys spending time with her friends and family, travelling and watching crime documentaries.

Zahra defends in all criminal matters and has a particular interest in serious crime. Zahra's caseload consists of murder, serious violence, sexual offences and other serious criminal cases.
Murder & Manslaughter
Zahra represents individuals charged with murder and manslaughter as well as individuals charged with assisting these offences.
Serious Crime
The majority of Zahra's caseload is made up of serious crime. She represents those facing allegations of violent offences including causing grievous bodily harm and assault by beating.
Sexual Allegations
Zahra represents clients in all areas of sexual offences. She is currently representing several individuals facing sexual assault charges and therefore has experience in preparing these cases for court.
Fraud
Zahra has an understanding of fraud at varying levels and is currently representing clients who have been accused of fraud by abuse of position.
