About Jamie

Jamie is an apprentice solicitor based at our Head Office in Salford, and she represents clients nationwide. She joined the firm in March 2022 and has qualified as a police station representative. Jamie attends the police station and prepares cases of all levels of seriousness in the Magistrates' Court and Crown Court.

Education

Jamie is training as a solicitor through the Solicitor Apprenticeship Scheme. She read Law at the University of Manchester. Jamie also holds a Master's degree and the Bar qualification. Alongside her studies, she completed a research project for the Sentencing Academy, focusing on mental illness within the Criminal Justice System.

Approach to the work

Jamie is focused on client care, and supports clients at every stage. She takes pride in representing vulnerable clients, ensuring that they are fully informed and understand her advice. This is reflected in numerous 5-star reviews on the review site TrustPilot from her clients.

Practice areas

Jamie deals with all criminal matters at the police station, Magistrates’ Court and Crown Court. She specialises in representing young and vulnerable clients accused of serious sexual offences. Jamie’s caseload consists of murder and manslaughter, drug trafficking offences, sexual offences and offences against the person.

Jamie represents individuals charged with murder and manslaughter. She recently represented an individual charged with murder arising from a serious road traffic accident. She is currently defending a client charged with manslaughter arising from an alleged breach of duty of care.

Jamie is regularly instructed in a broad spectrum of drugs cases, including drug trafficking. She is also experienced in Proceeds of Crime Act proceedings that follow conviction.

Jamie represents professional men accused of rape and other sexual offences. She also represents clients accused of historic sexual offences and viewing indecent images of children.

Jamie is instructed on behalf of clients charged with serious offences against the person, including a young mother and a nursery worker accused of causing serious injuries to young children. She also regularly assists clients charged with possessing offensive weapons and assaulting emergency workers, including police officers.
