This means that he focuses on preparing cases and analysing every scrap of evidence to work towards the best outcome for his clients, whether it’s preparing for a trial or mitigation ahead of a sentencing.

Outside of the job and in his spare time Robert enjoys sports, in particular running and swimming.

Practice areas

Robert defends in all serious crime with a particular focus on sexual and drug offences. He regularly instructs expert witnesses to prepare reports to assist with the preparation of their case.

Robert’s case load is primarily made up of representing clients accused of serious sexual offences including rape and historical offences. These tend to involve elderly clients facing allegations from decades ago.

Robert represents clients accused of serious drug offences such as possession with intent to supply. These cases tend to involve multiple defendants and Class A drugs.

The remainder of Robert’s caseload is made up of serious general crime. This includes fraud, harassment and violent offences which often include the instruction of experts to provide reports on his vulnerable clients’ mental health problems.
