Our client was the director of a large building company and had won a contract for construction project worth over a million pounds. He was then accused of fraud and the contract was suspended. Due to our active involvement in the case, the police decided not to charge him.

We represented a Company Director who ran a long established construction business. He had been engaged to carry out a large construction project worth over a million pounds. As the head of the business, he also employed a large workforce who were dependant on income from work on the project.

Several months in, the contract and work was suspended as he was accused of Fraud. This caused a huge financial impact not only on him but also his employees.

We represented him from the beginning of the investigation and obtained detailed disclosure from police in advance of any interview taking place. We spent hours going through the material provide by the police with our client to try and get to the bottom of what had really happened.

As a result of this meticulous level of work and detail, whilst also maintaining dialogue and communication with the police, we were able to establish that our client was in fact innocent of any crime and the investigation against him concluded without any charge.
