Case study summary
Our client was accused of growing several cannabis plants and interviewed for cultivating Class B drugs. He instructed our specialist drug offence solicitors and we persuaded the police that the plants were grown for medical reasons. No further action was taken.
Case study
Our client had already been through the Court process in relation to growing cannabis plants in his garage. He suffered from several medical conditions and had discovered that cannabis helped him significantly. He decided to grow a small number of plants for himself but they never came to fruition.
Our client instructed our specialist drug offence solicitors and we successfully persuaded the police that this was not in the public interest to prosecute. We also pointed out the science behind growing such plants and proved that these plants did not saleable cannabis.
No further action was taken against our client. He can now move on with his life without the stress of a police investigation.
