Frequently asked questions

If you can't find the answer you’re looking for, contact our leading Criminal Defence Solicitors here.

Do I need an appointment to see you straight away?

To see our Manchester criminal solicitors in person it's necessary to call ahead and make an appointment. We have slots available most days. If you want to see someone straight away and there is no lawyer available in the Manchester office, we can usually see you in our Salford Office which is only twenty minutes away. We can also usually see you on the day virtually in a secure, encrypted videocall.

What's the best way to come by car and is there parking?

The office is in the Spinningfields commercial part of Manchester city centre. Most visitors by car will approach us either via Deansgate or from the Chapel Street/Salford direction.

There is some on-street paid parking on Bridge Street and the surrounding area, and a pay and display/pay by phone car park on Bridge Street. The nearest multi-storey car parks is King Street West.

Which courts or police stations are nearby?

All of the local courts where our Manchester criminal solicitors defend cases are close to our Spinningfields Office. Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court and Crown Square are less than two minutes walk. The city's second Crown Court, Minshull Street, is around fifteen minutes' walk.

Do you have waiting room, reception and meeting facilities?

The office has friendly reception staff and a comfortable waiting area with seating. Here we have a meeting room for when our Manchester criminal solicitors are seeing one or two people together in person, and a boardroom for meetings with more people.

What are the local public transport links?

Manchester Victoria is the major local railway station, and around a ten minute walk. Salford Central Train Station is less than five minutes on foot. Deansgate Castlefield and St Peter’s Square Metrolink stops are both around ten minutes’ walk. Piccadilly bus station is a fifteen minute walk away. There are buses which stop at the Bridge Street bus stops just outside the office along the number 8, 34, 34A, 36, 37, 38, 50 and V1 & V2 Vantage routes.
