Our client was a young working man with no previous convictions but found himself in a position where he was being accused of a serious sexual offence, rape. Through these communications it became apparent that our client not only completely denies the offence, but had reported the complainant to the police months prior for harassment and sexual assault. Following the interview, we made sure to keep in constant communication with the police so we can keep the client updated throughout the investigation. We ensured the police had access to text messages from our client which supports his denial of raping the complainant.

Because of the detailed explanation we put forward, and ensuring this evidence was available to the investigating officers, the police decided to take no further action in relation to this allegation. Our client was free to move on free the stress of this investigation.
