Our client was a father who devoted his time to caring for his dependent son. However, he was arrested for Sexual Activity with a Child.

Our client was distraught after learning that his son had falsely brought this allegation. He understood the severity of the situation and contacted us knowing we were specialists in this area. Once instructed, we represented him at his police station interview.

At the police station, we took extensive instructions and carefully drafted his defence into a prepared statement. Our client explained that his son's learning difficulties meant that he was easily susceptible. In this particular instance, the allegation was very similar to a documentary his son had seen online.

After advancing the defence in interview, the police decided to drop the case. Our client was relieved with the outcome and can now continue to care for his son.
