Case study summary

Our client and her father were accused of harassing and threatening another parent at the school their children attended.

Police interviewed them both in relation to this. Our expert lawyers persuaded the police to drop the case after it was proved the evidence was weak.

Case study

This client approached our firm after being asked to attend a voluntary interview in relation to allegations of harassment and threatening behaviour. Her father was later interviewed for the same accusations.

Our client had been accused of following and threatening the complainant in relation to a dispute that was taking place regarding her child at school.

Our firm carefully prepared for both interviews and represented each client. We prepared carefully drafted written statements to put our client's cases forward and to demontrate that they both denied the offences that they were accused of.

This left the police with options other than to drop both cases after we proved that the evidence was weak and would not stand up at trial.

Our client and her father were finally free of the accusations which had been hanging over their heads and were able to get back to their lives.
