Case study
Our client was a serving member of the armed forces. He had an excellent service history and had never had any experience with the police before.
To his complete shock, police attended his address and seized devices in relation to an investigation of downloading indecent images. He was interviewed by the Military Police and after being represented by the duty solicitor in his initial interview, he instructed our firm soon after he was released under investigation.
We obtained as much information as possible from the police and duty solicitor as quickly as we could. We then assessed what the best strategic approach would be and following our engagement and various discussions with the police investigating team, the case was eventually dropped against our client without charge.
Our client was able to avoid the stress of court proceedings and maintain his good name. He stated he was delighted that we managed to get his case dropped so quickly.
