Case study summary
We were instructed to represent a client during a lengthy and complex military investigation. Following comprehensive representations and the right advice at interview the matter was concluded with no further action.
Case study
Our client was a serving soldier who was about to leave the army to take up a new post in the Police when an allegation of sexual assault and harassment was made by a colleague.
The military police are often a closed book but we were able to present information to them that conflicted with the complainant's account. Despite this they arrested our client on no fewer than three occasions to try and exert as much pressure as possible. Thankfully we were on hand to represent the client and ensure that he wasn't coerced into providing information that would cast doubt on his own defence.
